Welcome to a Friends of Christ Web Site

(Luke 9:49 KJV), And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.

(Luke 9:50 KJV), And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

Insight

(Eph 4: 23 KJV), And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Walk in the Spirit!

(Gal 5:16-25 ESV), But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do...

Ask Jesus To Give You Repentance

(Rom 6:23 KJV), For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There Is Only One Word For It - War

(2 Cor 10:4 KJV), (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

(A work in progress.)

Briefly, when a child starts kindergarten they have no expectation. They are excited. They have no preconceptions. The term itself refers to a children's garden. Children are there to see what kindergarten is all about. Soon they find out that they are there to learn about the "garden". In the beginning and for sometime to come, learning is fun and exciting.

    As they learn they come up with questions that they want to ask. For instance, they may ask, "Where did the alphabet come from?" At this level they have not started reasoning that they should challenge what they are learning. They are just learning because it's fun. What they are learning fits nicely into their physical environment.

    Now let's look at "Heavengarten". When an adult first hears of Jesus Christ, they should receive it with the excitement of a child starting kindergarten and that hearing of Jesus Christ is an invitation to "Heavengarten".

    Accepting an invitation to learn of "Heaven's garden", is an opportunity to discover if Jesus Christ is saying something that fits nicely into your spiritual environment.
